Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists work with people to help them to participate in the activities of everyday life that are meaningful and important to them. The primary goal of Occupational Therapy is to identify a person’s strengths and barriers to functioning and, in turn, enable them to participate in necessary and desired activities (occupations) to fulfil life roles.
Our NDIS OT services include:
Occupational Therapy Functional Assessments
Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments and Reports
Occupational Therapy Interventions including support with goal setting, living skill development, employment assistance, emotional regulation, sensory modulation, anxiety management, communication and social skills.
Independent Living Option (ILO) Assessments and Reports
Accommodation and Housing Assessment and Reports
Employment Assessments and Reports – including report recommendations for ‘School Leavers Employment Support (SLES)’ and ‘Finding and Keeping a Job’
Occupational Therapy Driving Assessments and Reports (including recommendations for Specialist Driving Lessons)
Sensory Profile Assessments and Reports
Assistive Technology Assessments and Reports (note: we do not complete complex home modifications, complex equipment prescription or wheelchair prescription)
